POINT 1: Large Diameter U-Drill Machining (Video 0:05~)

POINT 2: Diagonal Drilling (Video 2:28~)

Any lathe machine with a milling function needs a special milling holder to drill diagonally. However, if the machine has a B-axis, machining is possible simply by setting the B-axis to the drilling angle!
The tool spindle of the TMX-4000ST has φ75mm ID bearings & is rated for 68N・m of continuous torque at low speed, making it suitable for heavy cutting!

POINT 3: Simultaneous 5-axis Machining (Video 3:27~)

Chamfering of slanted holes is performed by “simultaneous 5-axis machining” in which the X/Y/Z/B/C axes are controlled at the same time.
